Spring is coming!

it will not be too much longer now and we will be out of the trails in the fresh spring weather. I can't wait! I absolutely hate winter. Those who have to pleasures of riding in an indoor area during our cold winter months are very fortunate.

I know that spring is near when my mare starts making googly eyes at the Alpha gelding in the next pasture. I also knew the nice weather is fast approaching when I came home one night to find the Alpha gelding (who has gelded at 5 years of age) in the field with all the mares. I am sure my neighbours had a show that day.

Well it will not be too long now and Cody goes off to Boot Camp again this year. I am sure there will be stories to tell int he very near future. However I find it quite amusing that the quietest and most compliant horse in our barn is the one going to camp. It should be the crazy chestnut!
