Cody is going to Boot Camp!!!

There is no turning back now. Cody's spot has officially been secured at Bridewood Boot Camp. I am so excited. I can't wait to see the little guy under saddle. I am sure he will be great. He seems to be just like his mom when it comes to willingness to please your owner. Although his mom does have alot of sass, all in all when it comes down to the nitty gritty, she loves to please her owner. Oh yeah, did I mention that his mom is too smart...and sometimes too smart for her own good. Cody seems to be the same way....smart but without the sass! He is still quite young and his attention span doesn't seem to go further than 10 minutes or so but at least he really doesn't have a mean bone in his body. At times, we still have to deal with boundaries issues but it is always getting better. He is also not afraid of anything either.......although he pretends that he doesn't like water sprayed on his feet but I think he is just messing with me. I don't give up though. I have battle scars to prove it. Funny how that is...he doesn't have a problem with me spraying water directly into his month but when you go to spray his feet, it is like you are lighting a flame up his belly. Silly guy! Last summer he loved getting sprayed by the hose but I guess he has forgotten how much relief it gives. Just wait until we get 30 plus degree tempatures outside. I am sure he will appreciate getting hosed down soon enough.

When Cody goes go boot camp, I am going to take some "tune-up" lessons from Jen because I seem to have alot of "English" habits that need fixing. Go figure...old habits die hard, I guess.
Oh well, I am not that old yet so I am sure she will be able to teach me some new tricks! Not like I am going to the competition ring anyway (doesn't pay all that well really!), I just want to ride off into the sunset.....safely! Ok Maybe I will want to join the circus some day.
